Who we are

Patricia Gutierrez Ontalvilla

President Nixarian Foundation

Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon (MD PhD)

Patricia Gutiérrez Ontalvilla has a degree in Medicine and Surgery, with honors, from the University of Navarra (1998). She specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Hospital La Fe in Valencia (1999 – 2004) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Milan in 2002.

In 2017 she initiated the first clinical trial in Spain on the use of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Adipose-Derived Stem Cell (ADSC) in the Treatment of Genital Lichen Sclerosu in a group of patients who had not responded to ultrapotent corticosteroids.

This led to a new therapy protocol that she called the Liquenia® Treatment due to the excellent results of the study. It is therefore an alternative to corticosteroid treatment. It shows remarkable signs of improvement in the patients who have received it.

Dr. Gutierrez is a member of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Spanish Society of Fat Transplantation (SETGRA), Spanish Society of Aesthetic Regenerative Functional Aesthetic Gynaecology (SEGERF) and the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Valencian Community (SCPRECV).

And Assistant National Secretary of ISAPS in Spain.
